Standard rear control arm bushings are slotted rubber & provide easy movement. However, they become stretched & torn due to age & lowering. Lowered vehicles wear these slotted type even faster.

Improved HD version! The HD version of the Rear bushings differ from the standard solid rubber R/TT type by increasing the rubber durometer in the bushing. For the ulimate rear control arm bushing, our HD kit is the answer.
Because we want you to know: We believe the standard R/TT version solid rubber rear bushings are superior to the Poly versions for many reasons, but mainly due to the flex characteristics of Rubber allowing proper movement of the control arm w/o binding (which usually results in torn Poly). Poly provides great compression resistance but isn't so great at 'shear/torsional' motions(stretching). On a rear control arm, poly versions have no metal sleeve & when the poly retaining lip fails, your control arm is likely to become detached from your car.

these took so much slop out of my front end, after installing these i fealt the car drove better than when i first got the car with the old style bushings... no shaking or shimmying in my front end anymore or clunking in and out of gear or when im braking... tighter than ever
